Reccie Run: Scouting Shaneo's Scenic Rim Loop to the Royal Hotel

A 377 km reccie through the Scenic Rim backroads to make sure the next Gasoline Alley HOG chapter ride flows right. Out from Manly to Starbucks at Yatala, over the range at Hillview, coffee and caramel slice at Oaky Creek Farm, then the rarely-used back roads through Rathdowney and Kalbar to lunch at the historic Royal Hotel, Harrisville. Some of the best country riding in South East Queensland.

Day 4: Rally Day - Thunder Run and a Run Out to Echuca

Day 4 of the Vic State HOG Rally - the first full day of the rally itself. Over 500 bikes from all over the country (a couple from France) for the Thunder Run around Shepparton, a sponsor stop at Total Tools, back to Rally HQ at MOVE, then a run out to Echuca on the Murray for lunch at the Shamrock - home of 101 parmas - paddle steamers, historic pubs, and back for Hawaiian night.

Day 3: Tumut to Shepparton - Both Sides of the Murray

Day 3 of the Vic State HOG Rally run. No straight lines into Shepparton - up through the hills to Batlow and Tumbarumba, the Southern Cloud Memorial lookout, a long run along both sides of the Murray, lunch in Albury, the historic gold town of Beechworth, a Ned Kelly ABC stop at Glenrowan, and into the rally.

Day 2: Tamworth to Tumut - The Long Way Through the Ranges

Day 2 of the Vic State HOG Rally run. From Tamworth we load up two ABC stops before heading south through orange country, back roads past Wellington, lunch in Orange, and a detour to Gundagai before landing at the Farrington Hotel in Tumut.

Day 1: Brisbane to Tamworth - Vic State HOG Rally or Bust

The 2026 Victorian State HOG Rally is calling, and Day 1 kicks off with the crew rolling out of Stapylton, down the coast to Ballina, through Grafton, up over Ebor Falls, and into Tamworth for the night. 700+ km of tarmac, one giant prawn, and a feed at the bowlo.
