After lunch at the Shamrock and a wander down to the Murray to watch the paddle steamers, the last stop on Day 4 of the rally run was a farewell drink at The Echuca Hotel before the ride back to Shepparton.
Another cracking old pub right on High Street - heritage features out front, an open fireplace, and a big rear beer garden extension out the back. With the glorious long-weekend weather, that beer garden was exactly where you wanted to be: cold drink, sun on your back, one last one before the run home.
A good one to finish on. Also worth a look on the same High Street strip - the Shamrock Hotel with its 101 parmas, and the heritage Star Hotel opposite the wharf.
